The elephant man

Yes this is the lovely nickname given by Marc to Sabastian, who is recovering in Nelson Hospital with pneumonia.
He is currently on oxygen, IV antibiotics, ventolin, nebulisers and physiotherapy.
Marc has kindly offered to stay with Sabastian, which I welcomed considering out of the 6 of us, I am the only one to so far avoid this virus.
Marc is also unwell so the excessive coughing is now confined to the hospital and not my bedroom.
They have a private room, TV, DVD in the room, and ensuite. Marc has a parent room he can use with kitchen, TV, Shower, Toilet and laundry.(considering Sam is the only kid on the ward, not a bad deal). Dinner tonight is roast lamb. Who got the better deal??
While Sabastian is still quite flat and not much appetite, he got his sense of humour back today (which has been missing), when he turned off the light on his mother when she went into the ensuite to use the bathroom (light swtich on the outside). It was pitch black and I couldn't see a thing. He had the silliest grin on his face when I came out.
Hope your back to your normal self soon Sam.

Having been coughing and nose blowing with sore throat and headache for three weeks now, I am truly sympathetic to your woes, Sam, which are even worse than mine. I know how lousy it feels to feel lousy for so long. We really, really hope you get better fast and have your energy and entusiasm back. Take good care of yourself!
