Boo

Tinkerbell (check out tinkerbell's boots), a scary monster and a wizard got loose on the streets tonight.
I have never been trick of treating via the beach, but we did today.
Happy Halloween from the Wilson's

The new fence

Marc has been working hard at a fence to add a little privacy, and a bit of a break to the front of the church.
Hopefully a nice patio area on the brush side with a little privacy, and some planting or fence art on the other.

Crazy hair day

Today the kids had Crazy hair day at school.
Of course Molly couldn't be left out!

Update on The Church

Well I got home from work today, and my lovely husband had gone out , bought and planted trees along the front of the church property.
We now have a bit of colour, and have softened the look of the building.
Within a month the floors will be complete inside, and we should be well on the way to having a shower and hot water.

I have talked Marc into painting the kitchen. Hopefully sooner rather than later

Jack goes to school

The countdown is finally over.
Today Jack started school.
Dressed in his special new jersey knitted by Aunty Madge, Jack headed off in the rain.
There was no looking back, and mum and dad had to ask for a kiss.

With a lovely welcome message in front of his classroom, and his big brother for support.

The one that didn't get away

BBQ prawns were on the menu. Molly wouldn't eat them but took great delight in ripping their heads and legs off for Jack, who has discovered another expensive taste, much to the despair of his dad.

Fat Tom

It has taken weeks to come up with a name for our new tractor, but so far Molly is determined that it should be called Fat Tom.
Where we are, and even Kaiteriteri beach around the corner, going out is determined by the tides.
The solution here is that boat owners have a tractor to be able to launch boats at any tide at Stephens Bay.
Hence we now have Fat Tom to launch Artimus whenever we want.
I have been given tractor lessons, and tackled a big hill the other day, with Marc watching.
Yes he did get a laugh out of it
Never mind Fat Tom and Sally make for a cute couple.

My Miss Molly is growing up

I cannot believe how quickly my children are growing. As we got ready to go out tonight I took photos of Miss Molly. She just is not a baby anymore. Tonight over dinner she was stubborn, but manners in between. She was calm, and for the most part well behaved.
I cried today with the thought that Jack was 5, I thought I would not do that with Molly, but today proved that in 16 months time I may not be that strong.
I love my kids, and today I am one proud mum!!!

Thank you so much for my lovely shoes. They have been on all day, until bed. A perfect fit with room to grow over summer. Thanks Grandpa and Didi

What a poser

Don't be fooled by that innocent look

Now that's more like it

Molly and her box

Thanks Aunty Mimi, Uncle Clyde and Sofia for sending Jack's present in such a fine box. It has become my favourite toy, and my babies love playing in it too

I even watch TV in my box!!

What a wonderful day

Jack got to feed the eels
If you look closely Jack's tongue was hanging out just as much as the eel.
He was not bothered by them being so close.

Thank you so much Grandpa and Didi for the lovely blanket, and the cars game for my leapster. I am snuggled up safe and warm and my game is right beside my bed for safe keeping.

Sam held through, but Friday night after 5 days at schoo,l it was pretty hard.

Molly and Jack LOVE ice cream.

Molly loves the camera, and smiles when she wants to.

Dinner was a little late, but thank goodness mum made us have an afternoon sleep. All of us were so well behaved, even though we did not get home until after 10. The hat was still going strong.

We had great fun today visiting the aquarium in Mapua. We then went for lunch at Jester House.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK

"Good morning mum. I't my birthday. I'm 5! "
Wow. 5 years ago a little man entered our life. He went through quite a bit to get here, but he arrived safe and sound.
Jack from the beginning has been a placid boy. Our 5 years so far have been filled with fun and laughter.
I woke up this morning with my big boy in my bed, and as usual was greeted with a lovely smile and such excitement.
Jack is a wonderful young man, who is placid, kind, loving, and very clever.
Jack (or Jacko, because he has learnt to spell his name and wants an o in it), starts school on Monday. As usual there is no fuss, he just takes everything in his stride.
Thank you Grandma Elaine for your lovely phone call this morning, it was very special.
Have a wonderful day Jack. You are special and today is YOUR day.

Good morning mum

Everyone needs to know it's my birthday. Jack has gone out with dad wearing the hat
.

My new schoolbag. Which is bigger?

Thanks Aunty Mimi, Uncle Clyce, Sofia and Critters

Thank you so much Aunty Mimi, Uncle Clyde and Sofia, Jeeves and Barclay. This present was soo cool. In fact that is what I said when I opened it. Mum and dad have told me now that I am 5 and I have such a cool bed I have to stay in it all night!!

I am saving this one for the 21st party invites. I am surprised I managed to get the camera, and there were no words a mother could say.

The Golden Boy

Well with a faultless performance, Sabastian has managed to get the boys Iron GOLD. He performed on rings, bar, floor and vault. There was no doubting who would win, he was streaks ahead of all the other boys, and even better than most of the bronze boys also competeing.
Well done Sabastian!!

We haven't been able to get the smile off his face yet. And check out the muscles. I heard people in the audience commenting on his strength. I was sooooo proud!!

How to drown your sister

Well it certainly wasn't warm yesterday, but being denied a spa Jack and Molly had to get their water fix. After about 10 minutes in the freezing cold yet to be fish bowl, mum finally gave in and let them soak up the much warmer water in the spa.

Renovation on the church

Painting has begun, and the cross has been removed. The brown wall is yet to be painted, but the ceiling is no longer yellow. The first coat of the walls is on, but is too light, so we will be going a shade darker next week. It is much lighter and feels warmer already

Well renovation on the church has begun.

Jack's Birthday Party

Look at that cute face. Do you think he liked the cake. He had blown out the candles before the cake even hit the table

It took 24 hours to plan. We decided to have an early birthday party for Jack before Liam went back home. Fortunately the weather held out and a lovely day was had by all.

The theme of the partywas a pirate party, and as you can see he had a great treasure chest birthday cake.

Heaps of sugar on board, and thank goodness a bouncy castle to burn it off. The party ended with a walk along the beach, andall told lasted for over 5 hours.
